Groundbreaking the oil production plant
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Trinh Van Chien, Party Secretary, Chairman of Provincial Council; Nguyen Dinh Xung, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman; Tran Hoa, Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone; representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, some departments Tinh Gia district and provincial levels; Musim Mas Group’s management, and joint venture partners, the majority of the people in the district.
Oil production plant project and the products derived from the Company’s oil NORTALIC built on 5.5 ha area with a total investment of 71.5 million USD. The plant has a capacity of refined cooking oil designed 1,500 tonnes / day, which, in phase 1 of the project will be completed and tested in October 12-2016 with a capacity of 600 tons / day. Products of the plant are edible oils refining, including soybean oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, fish oil and other products derived from oil, such as dedicated fats and by-products. When officially went into production, business, factory will employ around 300 workers.
Speaking at ceremony, Mr Lee Nio Kwee, Director General of the company NORTALIC, affirmed the strategic advantages and investment environment in Thanh Hoa province is the base for the company to decide on investment projects. Mr. Lee Nio Kwee thank the trust and support of leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Thanh Hoa province, the enthusiastic support, dedication of the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone, the functional departments at provincial, district Tinh Family and people in the project area for the company in recent years. The company is committed to ensuring project progress and quality, effective early investment, contribute to economic growth of the province. After going into operation, the company will provide the market with high quality products according to international standards.
Representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry leaders said the project confirmed the Company’s NORTALIC oil production projects with Vietnam’s largest capacity to the present time. The project is in development planning vegetable oil industry Vietnam until 2020 and vision to 2025; boost economic growth, create jobs, increase state revenues.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Mr. Chairman thanked the attention and assistance of the Ministry of Trade and appreciate Co. NORTALIC trust, choice Nghi Son Economic Zone to invest in building factories. Also praised all levels and sectors, especially the local people had made great efforts in solving the administrative procedure and the right hand over the plans for the investor of the project.
Mr. Chairman, emphasized: Projects produce cooking oil and other products derived from oil are typical projects, is the provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee selected the project is welcomed Congress of Thanh Hoa province XVIII th. The project started construction also significant events important for the development of processing industry of Thanh Hoa province and Nghi Son Economic Zone. The project not only creates greater added value for agricultural products; direct job creation and stable income for many workers; accelerate the process of economic restructuring; increasing revenues for the state budget, but also contribute to accelerate the process of formation and development of Nghi Son Economic Zone from the very first expansion of the area, build confidence and attractiveness for new investors domestic and foreign investment.
Mr. Chairman suggested proposals sectors and at all levels, especially management boards of Nghi Son Economic Zone, District Party Committee, People’s Council Tinh Gia district, committees, governments, the mass of communes in the project area must be accompanied, in collaboration with investors and contractors to resolve or propose promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the construction process. In the immediate need to focus solving infrastructure problems; ensure security and order; investment incentives and other necessary conditions for investors, contractors project implementation schedule. He also wants and suggest investors and contractors in the spirit of responsibility, build safe plant with the fastest tempo and highest quality.
