Nghi Son Economic Zone extends to 106.000ha

At the ceremony, representatives of the Manage Board ot Nghi Son Economic Zone announced Decision No. 18/2015 / QD-TTg dated 12-6-2015 of the Prime Minister on amending and supplementing some articles of the Regulation on operation Nghi Son Economic Zone, Thanh Hoa province, issued together with Decision No. 28/2010 / QD-TTg, dated 3-3-2010. Document No. 2269 / TTg-KTN, dated 13-11-2014 of the Prime Minister on the adjustment of the planning development of Thanh Hoa industrial zones 2020.
Accordingly, the area of Nghi Son Economic Zone will be adjusted to increase nearly 6 times, from 18,611.8 hectares to 106,000 hectares, covering 66,497.57 hectares of land and islands, 39502.43 ha. The area of the land and the entire island including areas under the administrative boundaries of Tinh Gia district with 33 communes and one town (including 12 communes is belong Nghi Son Economic Zone); 3 communes: Yen My, Cong Binh, Cong Chinh located in Nong Cong district; 3 communes: Thanh Tan, Thanh Ky, Yen Lac located in Nhu Thanh district. Development Goals of Nghi Son Economic Zone between now and 2025 the area was perfect investment environment and business is particularly advantageous, implementing a number of infrastructure projects of economic and social importance and attraction of investors and foreign investment in infrastructure development and production business. About adjustment and additional industrial zones in the area: 3 industrial zones controlled expansion plan, including increased Bim Son industrial zones 450 ha to 1,000 ha; Lam Son-Sao Vang industrial zone rose from 200 ha to 2,000 ha; Le Mon industrial zone increased from 62.61 hectares to 87.61 hectares. Dinh Huong consolidated and Northwest industrial zones Station and renamed Dinh Huong-Northwest Station with about 180 ha. Additional new 5 industrial zones in development planning of Vietnam industrial zones, covering: Huanglong industrial zones, an area of 286 hectares; South City industrial zone. Thanh Hoa 350 ha; Thach Quang industrial zone 100 ha; Ngoc Lac industrial zone 150 ha; Bai Tranh industrial zone 116 ha.
